INTRODUCTION TO THE 12 STEPS & 12 TRADITIONS

In the program of Financial Underearners Anonymous, each member works the 12 Steps of Financial UA. These Steps are spiritual exercises, which begin and nurture the healing and transformative process of recovery.  

Compulsive Financial Underearning is a spiritual illness, much like Alcoholism, where the sufferer cannot recover by him or herself in isolation. Our recovery must come within a group or fellowship and we need the help of a power greater than ourselves. For many, this power is called God, Group Conscious or Higher Power-- in Financial UA we invite this Higher Power to express itself as Earning Power. 

By connecting with the Group Conscious, Higher Power or Earning Power of Financial UA the symptoms of our disease begin to fade and we experience a new sense of clarity and purposefulness.

Financial UA, as a 12 Step program, embraces the 12 Traditions to maintain harmony within the autonomous groups and within the fellowship as a whole.
