RECOVERY SHRINE & RECOVERY LABORATORY

     As you begin your study and practice of the 12 Steps of Financial UA you may wish to consider selecting a space in your home to be your Recovery Shrine or Recovery Laboratory.  By this we mean a committed space within which you study, practice and explore the 12 Steps and the various Tools of Financial UA.  It is a place, often close to a wall, where you can mount or hang your Vision Board, Treasure Map, and photographs of your Spiritual Council.  Additionally, this space also includes a chair and desk (or something that serves the same function) so that you may write in your Prosperity Notebook and develop your Notecards and Envelopes.  It may be a committed space where you write on your Step work assignments or from which you make outreach calls or conduct Interviews with other members in recovery. Ideally, this is a space that you can keep organized and tidy, showing respect to this space because it is the container for your spiritual work.  

​     In this space you may keep all your supplies, your Prosperity Notebook, Prosperity Pen, any office supplies, and even small icons that hold personal or sacred meaning for you.  This is a physical way for you to create and hold space for healing and recovery.  This is your Recovery Shrine or Recovery Laboratory.  Within this space you will experiment with the Tools and Traditions and keep notes of any spiritual phenomena you observe.  As you practice honoring the meaning and purpose of this space your purposeful mindset will radiate outward creating a positive effect on other areas of your home or business.  You may decorate your dedicated recovery space any way you wish, especially if it increases the feeling or improves your connection with your Higher Power and Earning Power.
