Spiritual technique # 3

The strategy of this Spiritual Technique is to use the slogan, "Act as if."  Begin living your life as if you have a job.  Build a weekly schedule of meetings that last the 8 hour workday.  Prepare yourself to attend 12 Step Meetings by dressing your best, showing up early, staying late, doing service as a Trusted Servant, networking with others and sharing about your process (during your 3 minute share) within all the meetings you attend.  Keep inviting Higher Power into your process.  Once you establish the quality of showing up consistently and behaving like a stable, productive worker among workers your Higher Power and Earning Power will start organically bringing you closer to a Job where you can exercise your ability to be a Trusted Servant for pay.  Opportunity LOVES people who are already taking positive actions.  Productive people naturally attract new connections, partnerships and opportunities.  Start by training yourself to be this kind of person within the safe, nurturing environment of a 12 Step Program and then gradually extend yourself out into the work world.
